Refrigeration Technician
Who we are:
Choquette CKS, a division of Heritage Food Service Group of Canada, is one of the largest service providers for the food service industry in eastern Canada. We have over 100 years of history, and our licensed, factory-trained technicians minimize downtime and prioritize urgent service. As an essential service provider, we saw no down time during the pandemic. In addition, we have an extensive support team to drive service excellence and we maintain a sizable inventory of OEM parts. We are the industry leader in Canada, and we care beyond service!
A day in the life:
Our Refrigeration and HVAC technicians work primarily indoors, away from the hot sun, rain and frigid cold, in commercial kitchen settings. Our technicians install, repair and maintain various refrigeration units. Typical commercial refrigeration equipment includes coolers, freezers, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, cold beverage, and ice machines. While commercial restaurant equipment is our main focus, we do service and maintain rooftop HVAC units, MUA, exhaust fans and air conditioning equipment.
If you can service hot as well as cold commercial food equipment that is a bonus! Typical cooking equipment (gas, steam, and electric) examples: dishwashing equipment, ranges, fryers, steamers, and combi-ovens and more.
If you are not currently certified, we will support your future training and educational goals. Your role will use your industry knowledge to service refrigeration equipment, while providing exceptional customer service to our customers - you get to be the HERO every day!
